Well it took a week to recover from our trip but I think I'll survive:) I don't want to bore anyone with a blow by blow of a very eventful week so I'll just do a little explaination with the pics. First this is only my side of the story. While I was running around Utah and Idaho with the kids Dave went on an awsome tour of the great Utah national parks with his dad. We drove A LOT! First we went over to Utah then the next day I drove up to Idaho to visit the ol Rexburg haunt. We went swimming and Bear world with my bossom buddy Many and Jensen's friend Ivan. Of course Jensen only had eyes for the train.The baby goat ate Lily.We drove back down to Utah. We went to the zoo with Marybeth and her kids, and my Mother-in Law. The kids had tons of fun.And once again Jensen was overjoyed with what----? THE TRAIN!Girlie little Hailey helped Lily by doing her make-up. Lily kept asking for "More, More"

We went to the fish hatchery. The kids loved it especially throwing in the fish food and watching the fish jumping out of the water to get the food.

We got to go to "Dairy days" at Thanksgiving point. Marcia and her kids joined us and Marybeth and her kids. We made butter and ate it on crackers.We rode a horse carriage rideAte FREE Dairy products- Like Ice CreamAnd got to make some ice cream ourselves.

GREAT NEWS!

So I went to the doctor this week. She measured my growing tummy and said well you either are further along than we thought or YOU ARE HAVING TWINS! I got excited on my way over to the ultra sound. How fun would twins be. Well the good news is it is not twins. After we found a single beatiful baby in there I calmed down and was really excited about being 3 weeks further along than before! So even better news- we got to find out what the sex is. It is a Girl! So all that is pretty fun and exciting. I'm excited for Lily to be an older sister and spill some of her girliness on a younger little girl. It will be lots of fun.

What is not so fun is maternity swim suit shopping. Instead of looking cute like this

I Know I will end up breaching above the waves while I play with my kids at the pool. Wearing a swim suit is hard enough. WHY OH WHY are affordable modest maternity clothes so awful?!!

We went on a fun little hike in between rainstorms this weekend. The kids loved it. Lily would stop every twenty steps and point out exclaiming "Rock!" and wouldn't continue walking until we said "Yes Lily it is a rock." She also loved stopping and smelling every flower.

I wish Lily had a little more fear in her. She doesn't fear climbing anything or jumping off anything. I have 3-4 semi-heart attacks every time we go to the park- or anywhere she can climb.

Happy Birthday Jensen!

JJ turned three on Saturday we had a little get together for his Birthday. He has gone around the last week saying to everyone. "Hi, I'm Jensen I'm three. Happy Birthday." Its fun. I made him a Lightning McQueen Mater ice cream cake. And he got books, clothes, Spiderman stuff and a tow truck. He was in little boy heaven.

Welcome Spring!

I love spring. I love having more variety in the produce section. I CAN BUY SOMETHING BESIDES APPLES! I love the singing birds and the greeness! Spring makes me SO happy.We get the Wii Zapper and Jensen had more fun pointing at everything except the TV. He definently is a boy! Gotta love those guns.

First you take the peanut butter and you spread it you spread it. All over your face and in your hair!

I LOVE COLORADO!


We had a crazy spring storm over the weekend. IT dumped a foot and a half of snow dump down on us.
In two days it was melted and gone. Yesterday we went swimming at an outdoor splash park. Before our snow clothes are dry we are sunburned and drying swimsuits. I love COLORADO!

Are Sundays tough on any other toddlers? We have church at 1. Nap time is at 1 so there are no naps on Sundays and it is SO HARD on the kids. When we got home from church the kids sat down on the couch and both were out in seconds. Oh I forget how wonderful routine is until it is smashed once a week.

Happy Easter!

I love Easter. I love the opportunity to think on Jesus Christ and the blessings we have because of his sacrifice. I am so thankful for the opportunity to live again after death, but also the truly live in this life.
I tried telling Jensen the reason we got candy and Easter baskets. I told him the Easter bunny is happy about Jesus so he gives us presents. He didn't quite get it - maybe next year.

WeWe got together with about 10 families from our ward and had a little egg hunt. IT WAS SO COLD! I felt bad for the kids.

Jensen understood the concept of picking up the eggs this year. He picked up a blue egg and a yellow one- then he realized there were GREEN eggs. He ran around the rest of the time only picking up the green eggs. Funny kid.

Lily had fun opening all the candy and stuffing as much in her mouth at one time as she could.

She also has discovered her inner princess. A friend gave us a little Cinderella out fit. She loves it!

I FINALLY FINISHED ONE OF MY PROJECTS! I have been working on this one for a year! I took some wooden boards and painted them with Jensen's favorite vehicles. We mounted them up in his room and he loves them. He has Dave sing him songs about his trucks and airplanes and trains every night.

WE ARE PREGNANT!

Well I am at any rate. I am no good at keeping anything quiet so most of you know already anyway. But I had to make it official so I could say- I hate, HATE, HaTe hAtE my first trimesters.

I think this one has been my worst so far. So I don't throw up all the time. I truly feel sorry for those who do. I just feel sick all the time. Not just morning sickness, all day and really bad at night sickness. I feel so bad for my husband he work hard all day he is tired and just wants to relax. He walks in the door singing songs and hugging kids. He does the dishes and makes dinner and takes care of the kids while I am a lump on the couch. So I'm looking forward to a month maybe two months from now when I feel better and I can serve him. I LOVE MY UNSELFISH HUSBAND.

Any way Now that I am done complaining. I am really excited to be pregnant. I haven't been to the doctor yet but the baby will probably come in November YEAH!

So ever since we moved in Dave has dreamed of having a "Man Cave" in our basement. He gathered up office cubical walls from someone in our ward. He set up his electronics, installed lighting and electrical plugs and had a LAN party. He and my brother had a couple of friends over and had fun with their computer games while watching stuff on the projector.

I've been busy setting up my Square foot garden. I'm excited about having a garden and having space to grow things in:)
