What can happen in 5 minutes

So after church Dave and I went upstairs to get changed. We left our angelic children downstairs happily playing with their toys. After 5 minutes we came downstairs to a disaster. They had climbed up on to the computer desk grabbed a couple of paints from Dave's crafting stuff. They dumped it all over themselves, the desk, and the floor.

They are so "good" they then dripped their way over to the kitchen where we found them getting their stools out so they could wash their hands. The paint isn't coming off the desk or the hardwood floor and their brand new church clothes are ruined. Just another day in the life. 5 minutes REALLY! What did Dave do first? Get upset at the children-no He was the one to grab the camera. I love my husband.

It's amazing how fast kids can get themselves into trouble. It looks like a lot of fun though...but the cleanup a little messy. Good luck getting that out!!

Oh Danica! I'm so sorry! I get the picture now. :) You guys are such awesome parents! Tell Dave we're going to steal his Noah's ark FHE idea too!

Okay this is so funny--only because I can relate. But I'm never the one to take out the camera. Usually Ryan is laughing and taking pics while I'm in tears or holding my breath so that I don't say something bad. BTW, I LOVE Jensen's potty training pics. This is so funny! Way to go Jensen on potty-training! What a big boy!

Just be glad that you didn't have to combine the stories of potty training and painting together. Those stains come out, but they are a lot more gross.

Om my goodness, reminds me of three other kids who got in to trouble about 20 years ago.
