Happy Easter!
I love Easter. I love the opportunity to think on Jesus Christ and the blessings we have because of his sacrifice. I am so thankful for the opportunity to live again after death, but also the truly live in this life. I tried telling Jensen the reason we got candy and Easter baskets. I told him the Easter bunny is happy about Jesus so he gives us presents. He didn't quite get it - maybe next year.
WeWe got together with about 10 families from our ward and had a little egg hunt. IT WAS SO COLD! I felt bad for the kids.
Jensen understood the concept of picking up the eggs this year. He picked up a blue egg and a yellow one- then he realized there were GREEN eggs. He ran around the rest of the time only picking up the green eggs. Funny kid.

What a fun project for the walls!! How did you mount them?
I LOVE the wall hangings! So proud of you finishing a project1 its feels good doesn't it!
When do you think you will discover YOUR inner Princess? :) Jensen's room looks great! :)
I hung it with the little clear plastic mirror hangers.
Way to be crafty Dan!
Danica, congrats on the baby! And I LOVELOVELOVE Jensen's room! You are so crafty and artsy--the painted boards look amazing! Wow!! And I'm still laughing about the green eggs--so funny.
Isn't it funny how particular they can be? Christian always picks out the green applejacks and leaves the orange ones. I don't get it, I'm sure they taste the same, but whatever! :) Too cute about the eggs, what a funny boy. I'm loving the finished wall hangings! I'm glad you were able to complete them, they look awesome! What project do you have in mind for Lily's room? :)
ok I was looking on this site called myonecuteblog.com (I have a link to it) and I saw a background and I thought of you go to the Free ones and see if you can guess wich one ya it's super cheesy
Great job. I bet Jensen just loves it. BTW, congrats on the new one on the way.
Dannica, I can't believe I found you! Aren't blogs great. Karen had you on her list... I am so glad that you have a blog because now I can see your little family. Sounds like enjoy being a mommy just as much as you thought you would. Your trip looked fun, oh and congratulations on baby #3.
I can see the family resemblance in the countdown baby picture. Jensen listened to your talk about Easter and since "green" is the color of springtime he only wanted green eggs, or has he been reading a lot of Dr. Seuss lately?
what an awesome project! I'm very impressed. It feels so good to finish a project.
