So I realized how badly I have been neglecting putting up pictures of Lily. She is known in the ward as smiley baby She smiles big and often at most anyone who smiles at her. She is so cute. Here are some pictures of her in a beautiful dress we took her in to go to the Rexburg Open House.

What a beautiful dress, and a gorgeous baby! You two sure make some cute kids! :) How neat that you were able to take her to the Open House. I would have loved to go, I have yet to attend a temple open house!!

oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Seeing lily was my jollies for the day! She is so sweet! Not to slight JJ, I showed his helper blog and his climb out of the play pen in my human growth and development class today. We were talking about Ericksons stage: Autonomy vs shame and doubt.
So it's very cool that you encourage him---even at great personal pain to yourself...Here's some stuff: the Children are discovering their own independence.
Those given the opportunity to experience independence will gain a sense of autonomy.
Children that are overly restrained or punished harshly will develop shame and doubt.
I did tell them you briefly considered tying his leg into the crib. lol
